About Best Dentist California

Who publishes this free directory of California dentists.

Published by Adam Walker

Adam Walker publishes Best Dentist California, a directory of dentists and dental practices across the state, from the large metro areas to small towns. He built it so that anyone looking for a dentist can compare practices on what matters: the services they offer, their hours, how to reach them and what other patients have said. Every listing starts from public business records and is checked before it is published. Dentists can claim their listing for free to correct details or add photos. Corrections and removal requests go to [email protected].

Why this directory exists

Finding a dentist in California usually means scrolling a map full of pins and guessing which office is still open, which one sees children, and which one keeps hours you can make after work. I built this directory to answer those questions in one place, for every city and town where a practice is listed.

Each practice here has its own page with its address, phone number, posted hours and Google rating, and a short grid of what it states about itself: emergency care, cosmetic work, treatment for children, sedation, payment plans, weekend and evening hours, access and parking. Where a practice has not said something, the page says so rather than guessing.

The directory is free to use and free to be listed in. Practices can claim their page to correct details or add photos, and some pay for a featured position, which is always marked as featured.

How listings are vetted

Every listing on Best Dentist California is a dentist, dental clinic or emergency dental service in California with a Google business profile. A practice stays in the directory when 3 conditions hold: the profile was updated in the past 12 months, it has at least 2 Google reviews and it lists a website. Two profiles with the same phone number and address merge into one listing.

Services, hours and access details come from the practice's own Google profile and description. A service shows as offered only when the practice states it, and a detail the practice leaves out shows as no information yet. Ratings and review counts are Google's figures on the day of the last refresh. The directory does not verify licenses, so check any dentist with the Dental Board of California (DBC).

Right now that is 150 dentists in 30 California cities.

Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
